W.Va. charter board considering seeking same border privileges as traditional public schools

CHARLESTON - West Virginia's small system of virtual and physical public charter schools is setting its sights on attracting students from border states if the legislature agrees to make changes to state law. Barry Holstein, executive director of the state Professional Charter School Board (PCSB) briefed board members during a regularly scheduled virtual meeting Thursday morning about possible legislative priorities for the 2027 60-day regular session.
