It looks like Trump and his ilk really want to start a war in Venezuela and are using the excuse of fighting fentanyl to do it. The thing is that very little fentanyl even comes from Venezuela.

The sea is full of small boats and most have nothing to do with the illicit drug trade. To attack them on suspicion is against international law.

Murder is not too strong a word for it.

He’s also blocking their ports and airspace; all acts of war. There are very powerful interests who have an eye on Venezuela’s oil fields and Trump just hates to disappoint them. So he’s doing all he can to provoke Venezuela into striking back and then he has his excuse for an all-out invasion.

America is deeply in debt partly as a result of Bush’s stupid invasion of Iraq. We cannot afford another war like that. Congress could stop Trump if only they could find the courage to. Democrats won’t go along with it but most Republicans are afraid of Trump. Every one should call Republican senators and congressmen and let them know that they could be voted out next year if they let this happen. The vast majority of us don’t want this war.
