Dr. Dale E. Hunt, of Atlanta, GA, died December 17, 2025. He was born in Parkersburg, WV, December 19, 1931, a son of the late Aden E. and Inez Swain Hunt. He was graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1950, and subsequently from Glenville State College, Case Western Reserve University, and the University of Rhode Island. Carolyn Sue (Gilbert) McCuskey, 78, of Dove Creek, CO, passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, CO, on December 23, 2025, after a brief illness. She was born October 1, 1947, in Parkersburg, WV, to the late Mavadell (Perrine) and Clarence W. Gilbert. She graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1965 and later from Parkersburg Beauty School. She worked in the field, as well as a real estate agent. She met her husband David in 1981 when he was in Parkersburg visiting his family. Gregory Miles, 52, of Las Vegas, Nevada, died in a tragic accident on December 5th. He is the son of Greg and Elaine Miles of Vienna, who survive. His siblings, Chadwick, Natosha Friend (Pat) and Britney Smith (Darren) also survive along with two aunts and his niece and nephews. Gregory graduated from PHS. He then moved to Las Vegas to work for Walmart, transferring from the Vienna store. Davis Funeral Home has assisted the family with arrangements. There will be no local service.
