James Patrick McLaughlin

James Patrick McLaughlin, 85, of St. Marys, WV, passed away, February 14, 2026. He was born, March 19, 1940, in Clay, WV, to the late Ralph and Estella Cutlip McLaughlin. He was a graduate of Clay County High School, where he played basketball. He enjoyed wood working, fishing, hunting, gardening, westerns, especially John Wayne, and WVU basketball and football. He was a true WV Mountaineer. He was a member of the St. Marys United Methodist Church. In 1993 he retired from GT as state manager and became papaw.
