Rick Beaty

Rick Beaty, 70, of Parkersburg, WV died Friday February 20, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born in Parkersburg a son of the late Fredrick W. Beaty, Jr. and Charlene (Biggs) Beaty.

He was a 1973 graduate of Parkersburg High School and proud member of the Big Red Band. He was active in the Boy Scouts. He was a longtime member of Stout Memorial United Methodist Church where he had been active with the youth group and drove the church van. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed NASCAR, model cars, swimming, and camping.

Rick is survived by his wife of forty-nine years Michele (Mitchell) Beaty; two daughters Tia Ohse (Roger) and Heather Lee (Brian) all of Parkersburg; four grandchildren Kennedy and Corinne Lee, Carson Ohse, and Peyton; three siblings Jenny Raber, Jill Ross (Joe), and Pat Beaty; and his best buddy Baxter.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Scott Beaty and brother-in-law Mike Raber.

Services will be Tuesday 11:00 AM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Reverend Cynthia Eakle officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery South. Visitation will be Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
