Edna Ethel Peck

With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Edna Ethel Peck, who left this world on February 16, 2026, at Milestone Assisted Living Facility, surrounded by her daughters and a loving staff.

Edna was born at home, to Cecil and Sarah Green of Parkersburg on December 16, 1948.

Edna was the heart of her family — steadfast, kind, and endlessly giving. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome, to know her was to feel cared for.

Nothing meant more to her than time spent with family, especially her grandchildren. Her love was unconditional, her strength unwavering, and her laughter unforgettable.

She is survived by daughters Kristi Bond (Larry) and Stephanie Cunningham (Jeff) and grandchildren, Isaac (Sarah), Emily, and Alyson Bond, and Seth Rowh. She is also survived by her sister, Sarah Galland and brother, Roger Green

She is also survived by a HOST of nieces and nephews that she took in, and considered as her own over the years. Know that you all were VERY loved.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother (Cecil Green), two sisters (Bertha Dotson and Frances Clark) and her husband of 42 years, Garry, in 2018.

Though our hearts are sad in her absence, we are comforted knowing her legacy lives on in her family and friends that she touched over her 77 years.

Kristi and Stephanie would like to extend an ENORMOUS HUG AND THANK YOU to Karman Leavitt, Kristy, Barb, Jordyn, and the entire staff at Milestone Assisted Living Facility for the kindness, compassion, and love they shared with Mom (and the rest of us) over the last year she has resided there.

Services will be Friday 1:00 PM at Leavitt FuneralHome, Parkersburg with her son-in-law Jeff Cunningham officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 PM.

Memorial donations may be made to Parkersburg Humane Society.
