Randy Dean Reeves

Randy Dean Reeves, 66, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away on January 20th, 2026, after a long, extended illness. Randy was born on August 5th, 1959, the son of Clarence E. (Buck) Reeves (deceased) and Anna L Reeves Carpenter.

Randy enjoyed working for Lear Jet/Bombardier for many years before eventually retiring due to illness. He was recognized for his skill as an electrical technician, as well as being an experienced mechanic who loved to restore/rebuild trucks and cars.

Randy was also an avid Motor Cross bike racer, boating enthusiast, and talented guitar player. His favorite hobbies included collecting guitars and playing music with his “band mates” on weekends.

He is survived by his son, Derek Reeves; mother, Anna Reeves Carpenter; sisters Terry Frame (Kenny), Judy Stephens (Bobby), Rhonda Sykes (Wichita, KS.), Wendy Helminski (Huntington, WV); dear friends, Kenny and Kim Skinner, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence E. (Buck) Reeves; paternal grandparents, Pearl and Pansy Reeves; maternal grandparents, Walter and Maxine Boggs; nephew, Preston Sykes in addition to other extended family members and dear friends.

According to Randy’s wishes, there will be no private memorial or funeral services.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the Mid-Ohio Valley Cremation Society.
