Roger William Ruble

Roger William Ruble, 81, of Belpre, passed away November 4, 2025, at the Marietta Memorial Hospital.

He was born on May 11, 1944, in Parkersburg, WV, a son of the late Robert W. and Carley R. Vannoy Ruble.

Roger had worked 53 years as an ironworker and pipe fitter with the Local 168. He was a member of the YMCA for over 40 years. Roger had coached youth sports in the community and loved teaching baseball. Roger was an OSU Buckeye and Cleveland Browns fan. He was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed hunting and walking.

Roger is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Connie Ruble; son Roger Scott Ruble (Pamela); 3 grandchildren Kyle, Brandon and Rachael Ruble; sisters Linda Ruble and Sandra Parsons; brother James Ruble (Ann); half brother Mike Ruble; several nieces and nephews and 1 great-great nephew.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a half brother, Robbie Ruble.

Funeral services will be 11am Wednesday November 12, 2025, at the Leavitt Funeral Home Belpre, with Evangelist Jason Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow at Rockland Cemetery.
