Joy Lee Morningstar

Joy Lee Morningstar, 82, of Parkersburg, WV, entered the Kingdom peacefully on 9-28-25 surrounded by her living family.

Born in St. Marys WV on 2-18-43. She is the daughter of the late Forest and Lona Webb. Sister of the late Paul “Bud” Webb. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters Jody (Arnold) Morris and Michelle Morningstar. She is also lovingly remembered by her two grandsons, Colt Morningstar and Mikel Taylor as well as her great grand-daughter Dixie Sargent and great niece Gypsy Morningstar.

Joy was a proud member of the St. Marys High School marching band. After graduating she dedicated her life to being a loving mother and grandmother. She was an amazing Mother and our needs always came before her own. She loved her family, animals, singing, playing cards, playing the piano, sports, laughing but most of all she loved God.

She temporarily was ours in this world however, she had always belonged to God from the very beginning and has now returned home. She was a shining light in all our lives and will be missed dearly. There will be a celebration of life at Jackson Memorial Park Community building, Vienna WV on Oct. 26th from 12-5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers please visit “The Vivid Foundation” on FB where a go-fund-me is currently in place.
