Thomas Scott Fluharty

Thomas Scott Fluharty, 75, of Annamoriah, WV.

Our dearest Thomas went to be with his Lord and savior this day July 14th, 2025. He fought the good fight until the Lord needed him more. Thomas was a 1967 graduate of Calhoun County High School and proudly served 28 years in the United States Army.

He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Jane Fluharty (Wilson) of Annamoriah, WV; his only daughter and son-in-law Dena Marie and Randal Lee Roberts of Elizabeth, WV; his grandson Haden Forest and wife Takeesha Katlyn Roberts of Elizabeth, WV; great-grandchildren Dylan Lee Roberts II and Ellie Nicole Roberts of Parkersburg, WV; Caroline Jade Arey, Freya Rose Arey, Octavia Skye Arey and Juniper Lee Roberts of Elizabeth, WV; his nieces and nephews Christina, Leslie, Erin, Brittany, Tyler, Alexander, Luke, Levi, Jeremiah, Bayleigh and Kyler.

He is preceded in death by his parents Chester Forest and Cora Mae Fluharty (Valentine) of Grantsville, WV, and his grandson Dylan Lee Roberts of Parkersburg, WV.

Thomas absolutely loved life with his family and abundance of close friends. Many interests such as woodworking, showing his 1956 Ford Truck, and being a true Mountaineer. Enjoying every aspect of being a grandfather as well as taking a great honor of being everyone’s favorite Uncle! He also really enjoyed music, hunting and watching his favorite sports.

A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., 107 Market St., Grantsville, WV, on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., with Rev. Ken Heiney officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m., and one hour prior to the service Saturday. Interment will follow the service in Fluharty Cemetery, Big Springs, WV.
