Nancy Jean (Siers) Jackson

Nancy Jean (Siers) Jackson, 82, of Belpre, died following a short illness on June 3, 2025, at the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. She was born on August 16, 1942, in Wirt County, WV a daughter of the late Holly Siers and Gladys Mildred (Bridges) Siers.

She worked for many years and retired from Public Debt in Parkersburg, WV. Nancy loved to crochet, play the piano and spend time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Decatur Chapel Baptist Church in Little Hocking, OH.

She is survived by her daughter, Lori A. (Tim) Jackson McDole; son, W. Todd (Darla) Jackson; eleven grandchildren, Derek, LaNae, Leah, Hannah (Brennan), Luke, Rachel, Eli, Jesse, Ethan, Noah and Phineas, three great grandchildren, Nicholas, Andrew and Oliver; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Robert Blair Jackson; two brothers, Richard Lee Siers, E. Dale Siers; three sisters, Esther Marie Siers, Dorothy Mae Bennett and Betty Ann Porter, who was also her best friend.

Funeral services will be Saturday 1:00 pm at Mullen Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Jacob Timlin and Deacon Virgil Beall officiating.

Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

Visitation, 6-8 pm Friday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre and one hour prior to the service at the church Saturday.

In lieu of remembrances, donations may be made to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
