Washington County Grand Jury issues new round of indictments

MARIETTA — Indictments of 27 individuals were announced Wednesday by the Washington County Grand Jury, including a Marietta man accused of attacking someone with a rock.
Jarod Joseph Bennett, 26, 290 Ridgewood Drive, Apt. G, Marietta, was indicted on a second-degree felony count of felonious assault. According to Marietta Police Department records, on May 17, an employee of a vape shop in the 200 block of Pike Street reportedly saw a man steal a lighter. When he went outside to confront him, the suspect, Bennett, allegedly struck the employee with a bike, “then threw a large boulder into the air, which struck the employee in the head.”
Also indicted by the grand jury were:
* Robert A. Farris, 31, 1764 Meadowlawn Drive, Columbus; fourth-degree felony improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, with a specification for forfeiture of a weapon, from December 2021.
* Travis Tramell Reese, 35, 2875 E. Sixth Ave., Columbus; two fifth-degree felony counts of forgery from November 2024.
* Justin Ryan Schroeder, 43, 6235 Fifteenmile Creek Road, Wingett Run; two third-degree felony counts each of aggravated possession of drugs and aggravated trafficking in drugs – with specifications for forfeitures of property, a cell phone and a scale – from August and September 2024.
* Co-defendants Harold Dewayne Angus, 48, 8184 Ohio 329, Stewart, and Jonathan P. Angus, 44, and Kristin Hope Linley, both of 9531 Federal Road, Cutler; one count each of second-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs and aggravated trafficking in drugs, with specifications for forfeiture of a scale and money, from June 2024.
* Jacob Anthony Dodson, 30, P.O. Box 941, Mount Vernon, Oregon; fourth-degree felony trafficking in marijuana and fifth-degree felony possession of marijuana from June 2024.
* Joshua Don Martin, 45, homeless; fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs and fourth-degree felony failure to appear as required by recognizance from October 2024.
* Jennifer Lynn Maze, 41, 226 Maze Road, Belpre; fifth-degree felony forgery and first-degree misdemeanor tampering with records from September 2024 to March 2025.
* Christina Greathouse, 20, 302 Sixth St., Marietta; third-degree felony tampering with evidence and first-degree misdemeanor falsification from September 2024 and third-degree felony perjury from October 2024.
* Daren Earl Moore, 45, 163 Pam Road, New Matamoras; fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs from May 2022.
* Kayla Maye Rogers, 36, 904 Garfield Ave., Marietta; fifth-degree felony possession of a fentanyl-related compound from September 2024.
* Mitchell Lee Greenwood, 39, 37335 Ohio 7, Newport; fourth-degree felony assault and first-degree misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest and domestic violence from May.
* Lori Ann Nelson, 41, 703 Thomas Court, Belpre; third-degree felony tampering with evidence and fifth-degree felony theft from May.
* Amy Leander Frame, 53, Little Hocking; second-degree felony felonious assault, fourth-degree felony disrupting public services and first-degree misdemeanor counts of domestic violence and using weapons while intoxicated from April.
* Sabrina Lynette Ramme, 22, 1114 Williams St., Parkersburg; fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs from November 2024.
* Andrea D. Alden, 54, 2506 Valley View Drive, Belpre; 15 fourth-degree felony counts of disrupting public services, a third-degree felony count of intimidation, a fifth-degree felony count of obstructing official business, a first-degree misdemeanor count of aggravated menacing and two fourth-degree misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct, all from April.
* Kamron Jo Dawn Klepack, 19, 822 Margan Ave., Belpre; fifth-degree menacing by stalking; and first-degree misdemeanor disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, from January through March.
* Payton Christopher Layne, 18, 822 Margan Ave., Belpre; first-degree misdemeanor disseminating matter harmful to juveniles; and third-degree intimidation of an attorney, victim or witness in a criminal case, from March.
* Ricky Eugene Wise, 57, 610 Barefoot Follow Road, Middleport, Ohio; fifth-degree aggravated possession of drugs, from May.
* William Allen McAtee Jr., 30, 607 ½ Fourth St., Marietta; fourth-degree assault; fourth-degree misdemeanor criminal trespass; and third-degree misdemeanor criminal mischief, from May. In a separate indictment, he was also indicted on a charge of fourth-degree assault, from May.
* James “Pete” Clinton Bartimus, 52, (LKA 2346 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent; fourth-degree charges of failure to appear as required by recognizance and failure to appear by recognizance, from May.
* Daniel Scott Brunty, 38, 721 Fourth St., Belpre; first-degree aggravated robbery; second-degree charges of robbery and felonious assault; and fifth-degree theft from a person in a protected class, from March.
* Charles “Dillon” Seaford, 25, 2521 24th Ave., Parkersburg; second-degree felonious assault, from May.
* Steele Morris Falcon, 33, 713 Neale St., Parkersburg; first-degree grand theft when the property is a firearm or dangerous ordnance; third-degree charges of violating a protective order and tampering with evidence; fifth-degree obstructing official business; and second-degree misdemeanor resisting arrest, from June.
* Uriah Matthew Hill, 49, 1003 North Fifth St. Apt. 3, Marietta; fourth-degree assault; second-degree misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and obstructing official business; and fourth-degree misdemeanor menacing, from May.
