Marie Lynch

Marie Lynch, 85, of Parkersburg, passed away April 22, 2025, at the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 5, 1939, in Washington, WV, a daughter of the late Fred and Edna Flinn Sams.

She retired from Kroger and attended Fellowship Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Clifford R. Lynch; daughter, Darlene (Duece) Burnside of Mineral Wells; son, Fred (Joy) Lynch of Davisville; four grandchildren, Josh, Aaron and Jeff Lynch, Billy Jake Burnside; seventeen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild, Oaklyn Bush.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Stephanie Burnside; great granddaughter, Cailyn Lynch; sister, Sammy Burdette; and foster brother, Thomas Bibbee.

Funeral services will be Tuesday 1:00 pm at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Brian Leversee officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held Monday 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
