David “Dave” Congrove

David “Dave” Congrove, 70, of Davisville, WV, passed away Friday, August 23, 2024, at his residence.

He was born March 13, 1954, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Ernest and Evelyn Kinney Congrove.

Dave was a welder, mechanic, and jack-of-all-trades. He was a simple man who loved nature, especially bird watching, playing guitar, and spending time with family.

His memory will be carried in the hearts of his loved ones, including his daughter, Tiffany Congrove (Meghan); son, Ryan Congrove; and siblings, Debra Congrove, Dale Congrove (Sylvia), Dwight Congrove (Angela), and Duane Congrove.

In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by two brothers, Douglas Congrove and Dennis Congrove.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2024, at Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home with Pastor Dewayne Stutler officiating. The Congrove family will receive friends 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
