BEVERLY - The third annual Sweet Corn Festival will take place from 4-9 p.m. Saturday at Dodge Park in Beverly. The festival is hosted by Beverly-Waterford Growth & Revitalization Organization. Attendees can enjoy an evening of live music, games for the whole family and food including grilled sweet corn provided by Witten Farm Market, hamburgers, hot dogs and homemade apple dumplings. PARKERSBURG — A clothing drive is being held today at the Wood County Resiliency Center to help those in need have clothing for the upcoming school year. The City of Parkersburg, Wood County Commission, United Way Alliance of the Mid-Ohio Valley, and Children’s Home Society  are joining forces to support local students and families through the Community Clothing Drive from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm held at the Wood County Resiliency Center’s high bay drive-thru lane.
