Logan West of Tyler Consolidated Middle School has been selected for the first Super STARS (Students Taking Action for Readiness and Success) Council at the August meeting of the West Virginia Board of Education. The statewide student advisory group will elevate student voices among education leaders and strengthen engagement in public education across West Virginia. BEVERLY - The third annual Sweet Corn Festival will take place from 4-9 p.m. Saturday at Dodge Park in Beverly. The festival is hosted by Beverly-Waterford Growth & Revitalization Organization. PARKERSBURG — A clothing drive is being held today at the Wood County Resiliency Center to help those in need have clothing for the upcoming school year.
