WILLIAMSTOWN The Williamstown Police Department released the following reports on Jan. 29.
* On Jan. 28, Kelly L. McClain, 35, Parkersburg, was cited for speed 41 in a 25 zone on Highland Avenue.
* On Jan. 28, Quintin Phillips, 23, Marietta, was cited for no seat belt on W.Va. 14.
* On Jan. 28, Travis Lee Mulneix, 22, Washington, W.Va., was cited for no insurance and expired registration on Highland Avenue.
* On Jan. 28, a 17-year-old Parkersburg resident was cited for speed 38 in 25 zone on Highland Avenue.
* On Jan. 28, officers were called to the Gas N Goods on W.Va. 14 in reference to a vehicle striking the building and then fleeing the scene. A description of the vehicle was provided to officers and follow up investigation is continuing.

WILLIAMSTOWN – The Williamstown Police Department released the following reports Jan. 26:
* On Jan. 23, Abbey Gail Sabol, 27, Williamstown, was cited for speeding, 55 in a 45 zone, on West Virginia 14.
* On Jan. 23, Timothy M. Coffman, 44, Vienna, was cited for no seat belt on W.Va. 14.
* On Jan. 23, Franklin Lee Overby, 57, Williamstown, was cited for expired registration (July 2014) on Fifth Street.
* On Jan. 23, Eric Scott Board, 38, Elizabeth, was cited for expired motor vehicle inspection (May 2014) on Highland Avenue.
* On Jan. 24, Cameron R. Poling, 29, Elizabeth, was cited for expired motor vehicle inspection (July 2014) on East Fourth Street.
* On Jan. 25, officers responded to an alarm call at the River City Perk located at 1240 Highland Ave. early Sunday morning and discovered that an unknown suspect had broken into the business. While inside of the business an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen. The incident remains under investigation.
* On Jan. 25, Christopher Lee Snyder, 37, Parkersburg, was cited for no operator’s license and no insurance on West Ninth Street.
* On Jan. 25, Roseann L. Young, 66, Williamstown, was cited for expired motor vehicle inspection (July 2013) and expired operator’s license on Williams Avenue.

WILLIAMSTOWN – The Williamstown Police Department released the following reports on Jan. 23:
* Christopher Peter Jones, 22, Vienna, was cited for speeding, 54 in a 45 zone, following a traffic stop on West Virginia 14.
* Rebekah Mae Cantwell, 23, St. Marys, was cited for improper registration and no insurance following a traffic stop on West Virginia 14.
* Misty L. Crace, 41, Lowell, was cited for driving on a suspended license and expired registration following a traffic stop on Highland Avenue.
* Spencer K. Parks, 20, of Marietta was cited for speeding, 42 in a 25 zone, following a traffic stop on Highland Avenue.
* Brian E. Karcher, 38, of Marietta was cited for failure to maintain control of his vehicle following the investigation of an auto accident on the Williamstown Bridge.

WILLIAMSTOWN – The Williamstown Police Department released the following reports on Jan. 19:
* On Jan. 16, Trista Ann Oliver, 21, Marietta, was cited for possession of less than 15 grams of marijuana and no operator’s license after a traffic stop was conducted when her vehicle turned onto Second Street from Main Street going the wrong direction.
* On Jan. 16, Adam Robert McKnight, 19, Marietta, was cited for speeding, 34 in a 25 zone on Highland Avenue.
* On Jan. 16, Marquis Joshua Qwentyn, 23, Caldwell, was cited for no seat belt following a traffic stop on Highland Avenue.
* On Jan. 16, Alexandra Stewart, 24, Tulsa, Okla., was cited for reckless operation and running a stop light following a traffic stop on Highland Avenue.
* On Jan. 17, Calvin Wayne Kirby, 30, Vinton, Ohio, was cited for reckless driving and driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop on Highland Avenue after officers observed Kirby pass a second vehicle and then pull sideways in Highland Avenue, attempting to block the second vehicle. After speaking to both vehicles it was determined this was a road-rage related incident.
* On Jan. 17, Hannah Lynn Tumolo, 23, Zelienople, Pa., was cited for speeding, 45 in a 25 zone, following a traffic stop on Highland Avenue.
* On Jan. 17, Michael D. Schilling, 46, Waterford, was cited for no seat belt following a traffic stop on West Third Street.
* On Jan. 18, John Christopher Romeo, 19, Williamstown, was cited for possession of less than 15 grams of marijuana and expired MVI following a traffic stop on Seventh Street.
* On Jan. 18, Nathan Dale Joy, 34, Williamstown, was cited for speeding, 34 in a 25 zone, following a traffic stop on Highland Avenue.

* On Jan. 13, Miranda Nicole Sharon, 18, Amarillo, Texas, was cited for speed, 34 in a 25, zone, and no insurance following a traffic stop on Highland Avenue.
* On Jan. 13, Lisa L. Lacey, 44, Williamstown, was cited for expired MVI following a traffic stop on W.Va. 14.
* On Jan. 15, Chad Alan Maloney, 44, Parkersburg, was cited for driving on a suspended license and no MVI following a traffic stop on W.Va. 14.
* On Jan. 15, a 17-year-old Williamstown resident was cited for no seat belt following a traffic stop on 7th street.
* On Jan. 15, officers received a complaint concerning a 13-year-old female who received inappropriate videos via social media from someone.

* On Jan. 4, Tracy Michael Parker 22, Graysville, Ohio, was cited for driving on a suspended license, no insurance, defective equipment and no seat belt following a traffic stop on Julia Avenue.
* On Jan. 5, Rolando L. Vega, 48, Belpre, was cited for driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop on West Virginia 14.
* On Jan. 5, Cody Paul Britton, 21, Williamstown, was cited for expired inspection sticker following a traffic stop on Highland Avenue.
* On Jan. 6, David Allen Stewart, 22, Vienna, was cited for no insurance and no seat belt following a traffic stop on the Wood County Christian School lot.

WILLIAMSTOWN – The Williamstown Police Department released the following reports Jan. 2:
* On Dec. 30, William Henry Trussell, 28, Parkersburg, was arrested on a charge of obstructing after providing a false name to officers during a traffic stop on the lot of Smoker Friendly. Trussell was a passenger in the vehicle that was stopped. When asked for identification Trussell stated that he did not have ID on him and that his name was Jeffrey Bailey. A second officer on the stop believed the suspect’s name was Trussell and then observed a tattoo with the name Trussell on the suspect’s right forearm. Upon further questioning Trussell admitted to lying to officers. Trussell was placed in the Wood County Holding Center pending his arraignment at Wood County Magistrate Court.
* On Dec. 31, officers on patrol observed a 1998 Dodge Durango broken down on the side of West Virginia 14 just south of Hino with flames underneath of the vehicle. Officers were able to extinguish the fire but also contacted the Williamstown Volunteer Fire Department for assistance. The owner of the vehicle, Elaine Salter, 43, Mineral Wells, stated that the vehicle broke down and then a fire started. None of the occupants of the vehicle, including a 2-year-old, were injured.
* On Dec. 31, Jill Denee Jackson, 25, Hannibal, Ohio, was cited for driving on a suspended license second offense following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of W.Va. 14 and Henderson Avenue.
* On Dec, 31, Michael Ray Tabor, 38, Marietta, was cited for no proof of insurance following a traffic stop on West Virginia 14.
