Parkersburg man pleads guilty to federal gun crime

CHARLESTON – A Parkersburg man has pleaded guilty in federal court for the Southern District of West Virginia to possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence. CHARLESTON – A proposed class action lawsuit has been filed on behalf of Washington, W.Va., residents who say their property was contaminated by hazardous materials – including forever chemicals – from a landfill used by Chemours. MORGANTOWN – A class action lawsuit has been filed in Monongalia County Circuit Court on behalf of individuals who were unknowingly recorded by cameras hidden in non-public bathrooms at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. Belpre man indicted for violating protection order 13 times

MARIETTA – A Belpre man facing 13 counts of violating a protection order, among other charges, was among 16 people indicted this week by the Washington County Grand Jury. Timothy Paul Satterfield, 45, was indicted on a fourth-degree felony count of menacing by stalking and a third-degree felony count of tampering with evidence, in addition to the 13 fifth-degree felony counts of violating a protection order and a first-degree misdemeanor charge of intimidation of an attorney, victim or witness in a criminal case.
