Wood Magistrate
PARKERSBURG — The following cases were heard in Wood Magistrate Court on July 31:
* Diana Lynn Corbin, 2007 16th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension and assessed $276.48. Corbin pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and assessed $186.48. Two counts of driving under suspension were dismissed under a plea agreement.
* Duwane Jermaine Harris, 2317 Lincoln Ave., St. Albans, pleaded guilty to unauthorized delivery to an inmate, sentenced to time served of 117 days and assessed $226.48.
* Zachary Alexander Nicholas, 2814 11th Ave., Vienna, pleaded guilty to DUI and assessed $351.48. An obstruction charge was dismissed under a plea agreement.
* William Edward Vandal Jr., 177 Rector Drive, Creston, pleaded guilty to third-offense driving under suspension and no insurance, sentenced to 90 days jail suspended for one year of unsupervised probation and assessed $652.96. A charge of following too closely was dismissed under a plea agreement.
* April Bonar, 70 Mountaineer Way, Williamstown, pleaded guilty to truancy, assessed $226.48 and received a three-month deferred sentence but failed to comply with terms and conditions set forth in the diversion agreement. A truancy charge was dismissed under a plea agreement.
* A charge of following authorized emergency vehicles was dismissed against Ryan Willard Ewing, 1030 George St., Parkersburg, with a six month deferred sentence after successfully completing the diversion.
* Lorraine Schneider, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to violation of a protective order, assessed $426.48 and sentenced to 30 days jail suspended for one year of unsupervised probation.
* Thomas Craig Scott, 94 Roy Rogers Road, Lucasville, Ohio, pleaded guilty to DUI and assessed $351.48.
* Joshua Wayne Bee, 485 Miller Ridge Road, Davisville, pleaded guilty to second-offense DUI, assessed $352.96 and sentenced to one year of home confinement. A charge of driving under suspension was dismissed under a plea agreement.
* A charge of torturing or killing an animal was dismissed against Patrick Alan Duggan, 1402 ½ 16th St., Vienna, after he was indicted on the charge.
* Rhonda Kaylynn Abbott, 1213 Pike St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, assessed $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days jail with a deferred sentence for six months which was unsuccessful.
* Jalen Michael Arnott, 3010 Third Ave., Vienna, pleaded guilty to two counts of shoplifting and assessed $552.96 with a civil penalty of $998 to Rural King in Parkersburg and a $50 civil penalty to Sheetz on Seventh Street. A charge of receiving or transferring stolen goods was dismissed by the magistrate.
* Nancy K. Lee, 41 Sams Road, Cairo, pleaded guilty to speeding and assessed $181.46.
* Brandon Luke Parker, 1006 George St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension and assessed $276.48.
* Harold Lee Hansen III, 3905 Eighth Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to no inspection and assessed $181.48.
* Barry Patrick Myles, 524 Watson Road, Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to speeding and assessed $186.48.
* Michelle L. Duvally, 34546 Christy Road, Graysville, Ohio, pleaded guilty to no proof of insurance and assessed $376.48.
* Rodney Lee Jones, 1095 Woodyard Creek Road, Washington, W.Va., pleaded guilty to registration violation and assessed $181.48. An expired operators charge was dismissed after proof was shown to the court.
* Otis Miseal Brewster, 1618 Beaver St. Apt. 4, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and bond was set at $50,000.
* Joseph Michael Grendel, 1511 Rayon Drive, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of first-offense shoplifting, fleeing, second-offense shoplifting and possession of a controlled substance and bond was set at $3,000.
* Shannon Rose Halligan, Furlong, Pa., was arraigned on charges of driving impaired and domestic battery and bond was set at $5,000.
* Gage Oryan Dowler, 4415 14th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and released on $500 bond.
* Bryce Michael Dowler, 3003 City View Drive Apt. B, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and released on $500 bond.
* William Dakota Hogan, 6734 Elizabeth Pike, Elizabeth, was arraigned on a charge of dog killing livestock and released on $500 bond.

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports Aug. 1:
* Nathaniel Page Pittman, 216 Ranis Road, Belleville, was arraigned on a charge of attempt to commit a felony, grand larceny. Bond was set at $10,000 surety.
* James Patrick Owens, 130 Meadows Mobile Home Park, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order and released on $2,500 personal recognizance bond.
* Craig Russell Morrison, 607 31st St., Vienna, was arraigned on charges of public intoxication and assault of a government representative, health care worker, utility worker, emergency service personnel, correctional employee or law enforcement official and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Aaron Michael Romans, 2407 Rockland Ave., Belpre, was arraigned on charges of no operator’s license and no proof of insurance and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Michael Luke Carpenter, 1906 Avery St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on an unsecured load charge and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Brooks Mykael Hedges, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $3,000 surety bond.
* Jordan David Slider, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Dana Michael Ide, 2807 Dudley Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to one count of shoplifting, was assessed $231.48 and ordered to pay an $80.52 civil penalty to Walmart in Vienna. In a separate case, Ide pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended/revoked license and was assessed $356.48. A charge of no proof of insurance was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
* A charge of domestic battery was dismissed against James Clair Kittle, Parkersburg, because the alleged victim did not appear.
* A charge of disposal of solid waste in a manner endangering environment, public health safety or welfare was dismissed against John Henry Thomas, Rockport, because the defendant is deceased.
*A charge of destruction of property was dismissed against James William Radabaugh, 88 Elmwood Heights, Williamstown, because the arresting officer is no longer employed by the Wood County Sheriff’s Office and the victim did not want to proceed.
* A charge of strangulation was dismissed without prejudice against Paul Wilson Cumberledge, Parkersburg, after the alleged victim failed to appear.
* Paul William Cochran, 113 Pickering St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstructing with threats of harm and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended for one year of unsupervised probation. He was assessed $236.48.
* Christopher Scott Lamp, P.O. Box 940, Grantsville, pleaded guilty to obstructing with threats of harm and possession of a controlled substance and was assessed $432.96.
* Zachary David Krieg, 4503 10th Ave., Vienna, pleaded guilty to cruelty to animals, withholding medical treatment and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended for one year of unsupervised probation. He was assessed $476.48.
* Sarah Lynn Stobart, 715 ½ Franklin Ave., Unit B, Belpre, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, less than 0.15, and was sentenced to eight hours in jail, already served. She was assessed $361.48.
* Glen Ray Hardie Jr., 22 Lexington Park Drive, Vienna, pleaded guilty to DUI, reduced from an original charge of second-offense DUI as part of a plea agreement. He was sentenced to 15 hours in jail, already served, and assessed $361.48.
* A charge of stream litter was dismissed without prejudice against Deborah Lynn Martin, 1252 Gihon Road, Parkersburg.
* Shawn C. Newlon, 14259 Staunton Turnpike, Smithville, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to 90 days in jail, suspended for six months of unsupervised probation. He was assessed $196.48. Charges of operating without inspection or failure to produce certificate and improper registration were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
* Heather Renee Smith, 575 Sixth St., Apt. A, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended/revoked license and was assessed $326.48.
* Kimberly Rose Berden, 8 Meadowbrook Acres, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to false report and was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended for six months of unsupervised probation. He was assessed $236.48.
* Michael David Hall, 720 Pine Circle, Davisville, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended/revoked license, general, and was assessed $276.48. A charge of no motor vehicle inspection was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
* Howard Warren Guinn, 117 Locust St., Belpre, waived a preliminary hearing on a charge of manufacture or possession with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or methamphetamine. The case was transferred to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Probable cause was found on a charge of kidnapping against Jonathan Patrick Lott, 2139 17th St., Parkersburg, and the case was bound over to Wood County Circuit Court.
* James Austin Strothers, 2 Woodberry Circle, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to reckless driving and was sentenced to jail for 90 days, suspended for one year of unsupervised probation. He was assessed $201.48. A charge of first-offense DUI was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
* Gregory Dean Moore, 9 George St., Cairo, pleaded no contest to speeding and was assessed $181.48.
* Justin Daniel Coull, 31 Kendall Ave.Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to failure to yield and was assessed $186.48.
