Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on June 27-29:

* Wesley Lance Taylor, 606 Jameson St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle without registration and fined $186.48.

* Bradley Hall Anderson, 647 13th St., Parkersburg, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Eric Shane Vest, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to destruction of property, fined $426.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. A charge of trespassing was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Mellany Lucille Morgan, Parkersburg, had a charge of second-offense domestic assault dismissed without prejudice and the charges will be refiled as the complaint had no statutory language.

* Robert Lee Franklin, Lot 91 Iris Drive, Elizabeth, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of third-offense failure to register or provide notice as a sex offender.

* Craig Alan Dishman, 395 Williams Highway, Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to the use of an electronic device without hands free equipment and fined $276.48.

* Jess Alexander Ray, 4958 Harmony Road, Gandeeville, W.Va., pleaded no contest to having no IFTA Decal and fined $226.48.

* Rodney Michael Johnson, 678 Walsh Road, Vincent, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48.

* Tammy Marie Reynolds, 4755 Veto Road, Vincent, pleaded no contest to shoplifting and fined $196.48. He was ordered to pay a $527.32 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.

* Susanna Eve Wilkening, 1670 Braun Road, Belpre, pleaded no contest to shoplifting and fined $196.48. She was ordered to pay a $527.32 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.

* Edward Joseph Perine, 60 Palmer Dr. Apt 106, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no insurance, improper registration, having no operator’s license for a motorcycle and having no taillight and released on a $400 personal recognizance bond.

* Dakota Allen Eskew, 1025 28th St., Vienna, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and having an expired MVI.

* Melissa A. Merriett, 613 Charles St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no proof of insurance, having no seatbelt, having expired MVI and having expired registration and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Evan M. Byrd, PO Box 227, Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on bond.

* Mellany Lucille Morgan, Belleville, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense domestic battery and held on a $1,000 surety bond.

* Amaya Faith McDonald, 514 Victoria Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Larry Lee Bader, 825 Seventh St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of trespassing and held on a surety bond.

* Kurt Anthony Tempel, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

* Logan Michael Hunzman, 624 31st St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Ashton B. Shotwell, 602 1/2 Hillcrest Terrace, Parkersburg, was arraigned on six counts of possession of a controlled substance and released on $3,000 surety bond.

* Montenez K. Gardner, 94 Lois Lane, Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of strangulation and held on $25,000 surety bond.

* Brandy Dawn Sarton, 36668 Buck Run Road, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Kenneth Ray Sasser Jr., 208 Mineral Manor Way, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protection order and released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Bryce Michael Stacy, Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of domestic violence and held on $3,000 surety bond.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on June 30:

* Johnathon Michael Loncala, 734 Lulu St., Parkersburg was arraigned on a charge of obtaining money through false pretense and released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Belinda Dawn Dugan, 1724 Covert St. Apt. A, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense battery of a police officer and released on a $3,000 surety bond.

* Randy Lee Cates, 151 Dickens Dr., Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of obstruction and held on a $500 surety bond.

* Anthony James Pfarr, 1629 Lee St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Daniel Paul Dillon, 24 Palestine Road, Elizabeth, was arraigned on charges of DUI and speeding (51 mph in a 40 mph zone) and released on a $600 surety bond.

* Nicholas Ryan Waugh, 1908 Gladstone St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of second-offense shoplifting and trespassing and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Thomas Gene Campbell, 3504 Millbrook Dr., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of failure to yield and improper display of registration and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Shane Michael Haynes, 1409 St. Marys Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to petit larceny, fined $300.28 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.

* Jessica Jenette Fritts, 95 Indiana Creek Road, Harrisville, had probable cause found for two counts of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth and a charge of conspiracy to manufacture, deliver, transport, possess 1kg of heroin, 5kg of cocaine and 100g of phencyclidine and 10g of lysergic acid. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Shane Michael Haynes, 1409 St Marys Ave, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to fishing without a license and fined $181.48. Another charge of fishing without a license was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Jason Adam Martins, 1725 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to destruction of property and fined $226.48.

* Brandon Dale Stalnaker, 825 Seventh St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of attempt to commit a felony and held on a $10,000 surety bond.

* Christopher Scott Holder, no address given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Washington County, Ohio for aggravated possession of drugs and held on no bond. A hearing was set in Wood County Circuit Court.

* Jennifer Nicole Wolfe, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense domestic battery and released on a $2,500 surety bond.

* Jalen Michael Arnott, Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and held on a $2,500 surety bond.

* Mizael Rodriguez Gutierrez, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on a $2,500 personal recognizance bond.

* Kevin B. King, 221 Kiowa Way, Sandyville, pleaded guilty to having no valid IFTA Decal and fined $226.48.

* Jerry Lee Dunn, 129 Southern Hwy., Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to improper use of a cell phone while driving and fined $276.48.

* Kevin Leroy Swiger, 1920 Seventh St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48.

* Donnette Kimberly Whited, 112 Willow Drive, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to having improper registration and fined $181.48.

* Marina Rachelle Woods, 105 Caywood Road, Marietta, pleaded guilty to speeding in a construction zone and following too closely and fined $402.96.

* Deborah L. Amos, 2026 Bennerhassett Heights, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to using an electronic device without hands free equipment and fined $276.48.

* John Matthew Simons, 169 Hare Ridge Lane, Washington, W.Va., pleaded no contest to having expired registration and fined $181.48.

* Brandy Nichole Vandergrift, 1013 33rd St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed after proof was presented to the court.
