Circuit Court

PARKERSBURG — The following cases appeared in Wood County Circuit Court on April 8:

* Zac Blaine Wilson, of Pickerington, Ohio, was sentenced on charges of child neglect creating risk of injury and fleeing from officers in a vehicle with reckless indifference.

He was sentenced to one to five years in prison on each count, to be served consecutively, and received credit for time served. He was also assessed court costs.

* Ryan Scott Watson, of Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to an information containing charges of petit larceny and obstruction. His sentencing is scheduled for June 7.

Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — Wood County Magistrate Court released the following reports April 8:

* Gregory Scott Edwards Jr., 30, of 1103 14th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of criminal invasion of privacy and non-consensual disclosure of private, intimate images and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

* Zachary Paul Parsons, 25, of 1348 Slate Run Road, Belleville, was arraigned on charges of joyriding, fleeing on foot and obstructing in a felony offense and released on a $1,500 surety bond.

* Matthew Raymond Weaver, 43, of 167 Fox Run Drive, Suite 37, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on two counts of forgery/uttering and released on a $5,000 surety bond.

* Katilyn Marshel Gibson, 23, of 1304 Bird St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of fleeing on foot and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Robert Joseph Fry, 48, of 140 South Park St., Wheeling, was arraigned on a charge of aggravated driving under the influence and released on a $3,500 bond.

* Kelly Dawn Gregg, 31, of 4418¢ 15th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of forgery and bond was set at $10,000 surety bond.

* Gavin Richard Bennett, 21, of 16 Ashwood Drive, Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, with intent to deliver and bond was set at $15,000 surety.

* Eric Daniel Whitlatch, 49, of 4416 17th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of possession of a controlled substance, meth and marijuana, and one count of second-offense shoplifting and released on a $1,000 bond.

* Kenneth Lester Rockhold III, 32, of 408 32nd St., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of public intoxication and released on a $100 personal recognizance bond.

* Nathan Perry Simmons, 44, of 3030 Lost Pavement Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on three counts of third-offense shoplifting and bond was set at $15,000.

* Floyd Leonard Moore Jr., 63, of 131 Lorretto Lane, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of improper sewage disposal and released on a $250 personal recognizance bond.

* Elizabeth Ann Loscar, 36, of 565 Sixth St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of destruction of property and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Dustin Cheyenne Lamp, 40, of 790 Summit Road, Vienna, was arraigned on charges of second-offense driving on a license revoked for DUI and possession of a controlled substance and bond was set at $2,500 surety.

* James Earl Bee, 29, of Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and bond was set at $1,000 surety.

* Daniel Judd Dobson, 28, of 1712 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Tor Lamont Hill II, 26, of 3711 12th Ave., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and bond was set at $200,000.

* Kimberly Dawn Barker, 23, of 2102 Pennsylvania Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was assessed $170.25 in fines and court costs.

* Gregory Allen Hutson, 42, of 1409 Spring St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of receiving/transferring stolen vehicle and second-offense driving under suspension and was released on $26,000 bond.

* Troy Allen Knopp, 45, of 872 Dry Run Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance, prohibited person in possession of a firearm, improper registration and no insurance and was released on $6,000 bond.

* Richard Owen Sample, 57. of 506 Caroline Ave., Williamstown, waived a preliminary hearing on a charge of displaying obscene material to a minor and the case was bound over to Wood County Circuit Court.

* John Thomas Buchanan, 31, of 2691 New England Ridge Road, Washington, W.Va., waived a preliminary hearing on a grand larceny charge and the case was bound over to circuit court.

* Robert Clay Edwards, 44, of 410 Point Drive, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to battery of a police officer and was sentenced to nine months home confinement with credit for time served. He also pleaded guilty to obstruction and was sentenced to nine months home confinement with credit for time served. The sentences run concurrently and he was assessed $320.50 in fines and court costs.

* Austin Jacob McClure, 22, of Washington, W.Va., pleaded guilty to domestic battery, was sentenced to six months jail suspended for one year of probation and was assessed $160.25 in court costs.

Washington Sheriff

MARIETTA — The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released the following reports April 8:

* On March 25, Lt. Hornbeck met with Mitchell Zajac, of Marietta, in reference to a stolen handgun. This case remains under investigation.

* On March 26, Deputy Young provided assistance to the Noble County Sheriff’s Office with an investigation and recovering stolen property.

* On March 28, Deputy Hall and Lt. Hunter responded to Orchard Drive, Little Hocking, to a trespassing complaint by the manager of Dollar General. A subject was riding a dirt bike in the parking lot and had been advised previously not to be riding the bike on the property. A summons is being requested for the juvenile through Washington County Juvenile Court.

* On March 28, Det. Sgt. McPeek responded to 1910 State Route 550, Cutler, to a domestic disturbance. A witness reported being at the home with Caitlin Ruble and Keon Hunter when Robert Ruble showed up. Caitlin and Robert began arguing outside and Caitlin yelled for Hunter to come outside. The arguing continued with Robert retrieving a knife and making the comment he would kill Caitlin. Everyone then went back inside and locked the door at which time Robert drove off. Caitlin then left the residence when she was advised that the Sheriff’s Office was called. Sgt. McPeek spoke with Caitlin who stated that she thought Robert would hit her, due to his history. Caitlin further stated that after Hunter came outside Robert stopped the vehicle and came at both of them with a knife. A warrant was requested for the arrest of Robert C. Ruble, 24, of Belpre, on a charge of domestic violence.

* On March 28, while investigating a domestic violence incident at 1910 State Route 550, Cutler, Sgt. McPeek became aware of stolen property possibly at this residence where Caitlin Ruble and Keon Hunter reside. Samantha Sampson, 311 King Avenue, Cutler, reported numerous household items, to include jewelry and electronics, along with a Pit-Bull puppy, stolen from her residence. A consent to search was obtained and deputies located a small black Pit-Bull puppy running around the house along with a purse containing a bank card belonging to Samantha Sampson’s family member. Both Ruble and Keon Hunter had left the residence prior to law enforcement arriving this date. On April 2, Ruble and Hunter were observed back at the residence and upon speaking with them they denied involvement in the theft of items from Sampson, however eventually stated they entered the house and stole the items. Ruble and Hunter each stated that they threw items out along the road after leaving the residence. Keon Shermane Hunter, 24, of 1910 State Route 550, Cutler, and Caitlin Renee Ruble, 23, were arrested for tampering with evidence, receiving stolen property and burglary. Ruble was also arrested on an outstanding warrant for disorderly conduct.

* On March 29, Deputy A McConnell responded to The Country Corner Gas Station, 2346 State Route 550, Bartlett, in reference to missing deposits. After completing the investigation it was determined that Katherine Bartimus, an employee, was the subject believed to have stolen the money. Bartimus was interviewed and admitted to stealing the deposits. Katherine Louis Bartimus, 38, of 2346 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, was placed under arrest and charged with theft. Bartimus was transported to the Washington County Jail for processing.

* Christopher Allen Streight, 32, of 120 Ward Street, Marietta, breaking and entering, a felony, theft, and contempt of court, both misdemeanors.

* Todd Daniel Weddle, 50, of 114 Oakview Drive, Apt. 5, Marietta, assault, a misdemeanor.

* Christopher Michael Hilton, 31, of Marietta, domestic violence, a felony.

* Kyle Joseph Cobb, 29, of 1917 State Route 550, Bartlett, fugitive from justice, a misdemeanor.

* Stacy Ray Robinson Sr., 51, of 5355 State Route 26, Marietta, driving while under the influence of alcohol, 2 counts, misdemeanors.

* Katherine Louis Bartimus, 38, of 2346 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, theft, a felony.

* Nathan Allen Sprague, 30, of 411 E. Spring Street, Marietta, receiving stolen property and aggravated possession of drugs, both felonies, and obstructing official business, a misdemeanor.

* Hannah Nicole Beha, 25, of 185 Westwood Way, Washington, W.Va., driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, a misdemeanor.

* Nicholas Dewayne Boley, 34, of 1004 Grandview Avenue, Apt. A, New Matamoras, breaking and entering, a felony, and driving under suspension, a misdemeanor.

* Justin Allen Harris, 37, of 2837 Reynolds Run Road, Newport, parole violation, a felony.

* Brett Sumner Edwards, 29, of 165 Cornerstone Drive, Marietta, resisting arrest and criminal trespassing, both misdemeanors.

* Dakota James Christopher Moore, 26, of 852 Greene Street, Marietta, theft without consent and obstructing official business, both misdemeanors.

* Karissa Daveen Heddelson, 28, of 830 Rinard Mills Road, New Matamoras, possession of drugs, a felony, and possession of drug abuse instruments, a misdemeanor.

* Christopher Ryan Ledger, 28, of 29385 E. Belpre Pike Road, Coolville, possession of drugs and aggravated possession of drugs, both felonies, possessing drug abuse instruments, 3 counts, driving under FRA suspension and contempt, failure to appear, all misdemeanors.

* William Roland Talkington, 32, of 1205 County House Lane, Apt. B, Marietta, probation violation and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, both misdemeanors.

* Lucas Trey Haynes, 23, of 736 Greene Street, Apt. 11, Marietta, gross sexual imposition, 5 counts, all felonies.

* Lacee Jay Butler, 35, of 28634 Osborne Road, Coolville, contempt of court, a misdemeanor.

* Austin William Wright, 29, of 1045 Sandhill Road, Apt. 22, Marietta, aggravated possession of drugs and tampering with evidence, both felonies, driving under FRA suspension, possessing drug abuse instruments, illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and assault, all misdemeanors.

* Jason Joe Haught, 39, of 99 Cherry Hill Lane, Belpre, driving under FRA suspension, a misdemeanor, and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, a felony.
