Wood County applies for victim’s advocate grant
PARKERSBURG – The Wood County Commission signed off Thursday on applying for funding to help pay for the victims’ advocates in the Wood County Prosecutor’s Office. County Grant Coordinator Toni Tiano appeared before the Wood County Commission this week to get the commission’s approval to apply to the state for $115,993 from the federal Victims of Crime Act for victim advocate positions in the Prosecutor’s Office.
