Finance report filed in 12th Delegate District

CHARLESTON – A candidate for the West Virginia House of Delegates District 12 on Friday filed a primary election finance campaign report with the secretary of state, according to the online reporting system.

Republican Charles D. Hartzog of Parkersburg reported contributions of $5,600 in the reporting period of April 1 to April 26 covered in the primary report that was due by May 1. Hartzog reported contributions of $11,309 year-to-date and expenditures of $6,850 for the period and $7,385 year-to-date.

Hartzog reported contributions of $2,800 each from the Blue and Gold PAC of Beverly, Mass,, and Stefan Gleason of Eagle, Idaho, for the reporting period.

Hartzog and incumbent Delegate Vernon Criss are running for the Republican nomination In the 12th District. Democrat Dennis V. Rempel is running unopposed.

Early voting ends 5 p.m. Saturday, May 9, in Wood County. Election day is on Tuesday.
