PARKERSBURG — The following cases were released by Wood County Magistrate Court on Sept. 19:

* Andrea Elizabeth Holbert, 1102 29th St. Garage Apt., Parkersburg, had charges of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, made a false emergency report, violation of a protective order and a violation of a domestic violence order dismissed as she is already incarcerated in Kentucky.

* Anthony Nelson Wiggins Jr., 400 Mount Carmel Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to DUI, less than .15 BAC, fined $351.48 and sentenced to nine hours in jail which was ruled as time served.

* Micah Edward Lewis Leisure, 741 Larmead Road, Parkersburg, was found not guilty of a violation of a domestic violence protective order.

* David Jeffrey Caplinger, 2208 Tygart St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to keeping premises for unlawful controlled substance use, fined $186.48 and sentenced to six months in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He was sentenced to one year on the Amity Program for counseling. A charge of being a prohibited person in possession of firearms as an unlawful user or addicted to a controlled substance was dismissed per a plea agreement.

* Jillian McClure, 7280 Bonnie Beach Fork Road, Exchange, W.Va., pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and obstruction, fined $402.96 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. A charge of knowingly or intentionally possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Mickey Roger Smith, 217 Electric Ave., Belleville, pleaded guilty to illegal disposal of sewage and fined $226.48.

* Logan Roy Lalone, 1108 Juliana St. Apt. #85, Parkersburg, had charges of speeding, drag racing and reckless driving (no bodily injury) dismissed without prejudice.

* Dustin Everett Nichols, 11638 Staunton Turnpike Apt. 108, Walker, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed per a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Christopher Cole Wilmes, 206 Mineral Manor Way, Parkersburg, had charges of speeding and reckless driving dismissed per a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Auston Gaige Crouch, 2212 36th St. Apt. T, Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on charges of fraudulent schemes, forgery of a public record and financial exploitation of elderly person, protected person or incapacitated adult. The case was transferred to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Randy L. Batten, 605 30th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to unlawful disposal of litter and obstruction (boating) and fined $472.96. Charges of trespassing and mandatory proof of disposal were dismissed.

* Thomas Gale Little Jr., 1407 Station Dr., St. Marys, had a charge of third-offense shoplifting transferred to Wood County Circuit Court. He was released on a $300 surety bond.

* David Bryan Shuman, 1136 36th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of attempt to commit a felony and held on a $3,000 surety bond.

* Shirley Francis Wilson, 6 Royalty St., Williamstown, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Larry R. Cutlip, 213 Plantation Drive, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to parking in a fire lane and fined $181.48.

* Dean Fuller, 612 Marion Ave., Interlachen, Fla., pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.

* Carson Patrick Elliott, 4302 Sandalwood Place, Vienna, was arraigned on five counts of wanton endangerment involving a firearm and released on a $15,000 surety bond.
