PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on May 29:

* Roger Lee Coe, 348 Slate Run Road, Belleville, pleaded guilty to destruction of property, fined $1,686.48 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. A charge of third-degree arson was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Shane Anderew Salyers, 17 Millbrook Drive, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to third-offense driving on a suspended license, fined $336.48 and sentenced to 60 days home confinement. He had charges of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and having no proof of insurance dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Lewis Deiondra Blair III, 74 E Tallmadge Ave., Akron, Ohio, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Steven Nathaniel Hutson, 1319 16th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having defective equipment and having no seat belt, having no registration for a trailer and fined $427.96. A charge of driving on a suspended license was dismissed, per a plea agreement and after proof of having a valid license was presented to the court.

* Ashley Erin Roton, 588 Burnthouse Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm, fined $226.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.

* Eddie Andrew Byers, # 3 Worthington Lane Apt. 8, Parkersburg, had three counts of issuing worthless checks dismissed.

* Hunter Matthew Reese, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice after the alleged victim was not willing to cooperate.

* Angela Rence Burke, 436 Walker Lane, Washington, W.Va., had a charge of driving while impaired, less than .15 BAC, dismissed without prejudice as the arresting officer was not available

* Samantha Ashton Wilkinson, 1617 Andrew St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to being distracted by a cell phone and fined $226.48. A charge of going left of center was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Michael Wayne Barker, 67 Hill Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no insurance and fined $376.48.

* Brooke Marie Davis, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice as the alleged victim does not wish to pursue.

* Holly Kay Caplinger, 1410 Grandview Manor, Parkersburg, had charges of having no proof of insurance, expired registration and having no inspection certificate dismissed after proof was presented to the court.

* Joseph Clifford Argabrite, 3410 Janet Dr., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to reckless driving and driving on a suspended license, fined $877,96 and sentenced to five days in jail. He had charges of DUI, less than .150, and driving on a suspended license dismissed.

* Travis Keith Hall, 720 Pine Circle, Davisville, pleaded guilty to having an expired operator’s license and having no insurance and fined $577.96.

* Zachary Harrison Hart, 1110 19th St. Apt. D, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of malicious assault and released on $30,000 surety bond.

* Tracy Lynn Hill, 2043 Sams Creek Road, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of second-offense shoplifting, less than $500, and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Terrance Matthew Hathaway, 1205 9th Street Apt 609, Vienna, was arraigned for soliciting a minor via computer and held on a $30,000 bond.

* Gavin James Estey, 1004 27th St., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of battery and released on $3,000 surety bond.

* Tina Pitts, 1806½ Seventh Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of truancy and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Patricia Bailey, 2206 Fairfax St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of truancy and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Dinah Kay Willey, 610 Market St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Thomas Marion Conner, 49 Dutch Ridge Terrace Apt 134, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of striking an unattended vehicle and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Roger Bailey Jr., 17 Elmwood Heights, Williamstown, was arraigned on a charge of violating a protection order and released on $1,000 surety bond.

* Barbara Lynn Bartlett, 1123 Lynn St. Apt. 1, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving on a revoked license and having no proof of insurance and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Steven Jacob Patterson, 215 Chapman Ave., Spencer, was arraigned on charges of registration violation, MVI, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident and having no insurance and was released on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Billy Jack Cork, 4667 Welch Road, Little Hocking, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48.

* Jacob Wayne Ayers, 35 High Lane, Whipple, Ohio, pleaded no contest to speeding and failure to obey a traffic control device and fined $367.96.

* Stephanie Truslow Baker, 22748 Mattaponi Trail, Milford, Va., pleaded no contest to speeding (10 mph or less in excess on highway) and fined $181.48.

* Skylar Blaize Smarr, 1389 Tick Ridge Road, Vincent, pleaded no contest to speeding and fined $191.48.

* Tyler Aaron Bass, 100 Lewis Pointe Drive, Vincent, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended operator’s license and failure to display registration plates properly and fined $462.96.

* Philip Joseph Humphries, 1340 Lynn St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of escape/attempted escape. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Dustin Leroy Adams, 9 Beulah Hill Road, Elizabeth, had two counts of wanton endangerment with a firearm dismissed after the alleged victim failed to appear in court.

* Shawn Michael Bailey, 100 Rock Run Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to destruction of property and fined $186.48

* Dakota Matthew Fox, 1708 15th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of DUI and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* Samantha Rae Radcliff,Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $2,000 surety bond.

* Malik Earl Lake, 1014 Gihon Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver meth and held on $125,000 surety bond.

* Dakota Ski Acores, no address given, was arraigned on being a fugitive from justice out of Washington County, Ohio, on a charge of failure to appear and held on no bond.

* Deshawn Derese Nelson Sr., 1014 Gihon Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of battery of a police officer, maintaining a dwelling for the use of controlled substances and obstruction and held on $20,000 surety bond.

* Brandon Michael Burdette, 218 Chesterville Road, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance, third-offense shoplifting and fraudulent use of an access device and held on $11,500 surety bond.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on May 30-June 1:

* Brent Alan Padlow, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $2,000 bond.

* David Michael Mullins, 133 Sams St., Washington, W.Va., was arraigned on a charge of third-offense driving on a suspended license and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Bryoni Cabrerra Robinson, 86 Oak St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of telephone harassment and released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Gary Lynn McCullough II, 614 Burnthouse Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of driving under the influence and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Derrick Adam Carr, 4010 11th Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of drag racing and driving on a suspended license and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Sherita R. Lee, 1725 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of assault and battery and held on $15,000 surety bond.

* Zachary Paul Parsons, 1348 Slate Run Road, Belleville, was arraigned on charges of having no insurance and improper registration and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Ashley Marie Wynn, 1301 Avery St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of prostitution and two counts of possession of a controlled substance and released on $10,000 surety bond.

* Nathan Skyy Miller, 612 Ninth St., Marietta, was arraigned on charges of prostitution, having no proof of insurance and second-offense driving on a suspended license and released on $5,000 surety bond.

* Larry Robert Koehler, 703 Locust St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of trespassing and held on $1,000 surety bond.

* Hunter Levi Hamrick, 1318 Newberry Drive, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding (10 mph or less in excess on highway) and fined $181.48.

* Mark Lowell McClung, 1247 East Poplar St., Davisville, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.
