PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on March 17:
* Nevin Anthony Clark, 1101 Camden Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of petit larceny and released on $2,500 personal recognizance bond.
* Corey Joseph Bock, 2803 17th Ave., Vienna, was arraigned on a charge of grand larceny and escape from the custody of the commissioner of corrections and held on $50,000 surety bond plus home confinement.
* Austin Richard Dailey, 742 Tuttle St., Belpre, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Kevin Lee Mays, PO Box 996, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of violation of a domestic violence bond and released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Robert M Wilson, 1354 Staunton Turnpike, Petroleum, was arraigned on charges of having no valid IFTA decal, expired MVI, expired MVI (trailer) and no red flag on a projecting load and released on $2,000 personal recognizance bond.
* Bryan A. Hackney, 214 Calhoun Homes Drive Apt. #8, Mt. Zion, was arraigned on charges of shoplifting (warrant) and released on $350 cash bond.
* Michael Corey Matheny, 600 Hawthorne St., Parkersburg, had a charge of grand larceny dismissed after the victim recovered the cost of the damage out of court.
* Matthew David Bigler, 381 Perkins Lane, Washington, W.Va., had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice as the alleged victim does not wish to proceed.
* Dakota Jack Leasure, 1209 Grandview St., Parkersburg, had a charge of malicious or unlawful assault dismissed after the alleged victim failed to appear in court.
* Rebekah Rae Baker, 130 Happy Valley Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing and fined $276.48.
* Mollie Lamora Dennis, 2510 David Lee Drive, Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to improper lane change and fined $181.48.
* Donald Eric Johnson, 242 Nicholas Hollow Road, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license, failure to maintain control, no registration and fined $462.96. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Jamie Lee Edwards, 722 Hill St., Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to improper seatbelt and fined $25. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed.
* Cameron Wooddell Cotter, 114 Wooddell Drive, Bridgeport, W.Va., pleaded guilty to speeding (10 mph or less in excess on highway) and fined $181.48.
* Anna Jean McElfresh, 69 Stoney Creek Lane, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding in a school zone and fined $201.48.
* William W Hafer, 33 Crystal Springs, Washington, W.Va., pleaded guilty to having no seatbelt and fined $25.
* Jerry Francis Smith, 2122 Nash St., Parkersburg, pleaded no contest to a red light violation and fined $181.48.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on March 18:
* Delaney Keir Shannon, 1626 Park St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to petit larceny, fined $176.48 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. She had a charge of breaking and entering dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Travis Eugene Wineman, 1417 ½ Covert St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to destruction of property and fined $9145.97 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He had a charge of destruction of property dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Howard Warren Guinn III, 1500 Broadway Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of meth and fined $236.48. He had charges of driving on a suspended license and third-offense driving on a suspended license dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Rodney William Arbogast Jr., 825 Seventh St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Ann Street in Parkersburg. He also pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a $54.74 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna.
* Matthew Duke Saunders, 1005 Lynn St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Matthew Ryan Settle, 3810 Liberty St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $206.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Savannah Kaitlyn Anthony, 322 Oakbrook Drive, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage, obstruction, fined $362.96 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on six months of unsupervised probation.
* Aaron John Nicholson, 1003 Kemper St., Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice after the alleged victim did not appear in court.
* Chad Michael Wilson, 936 Latrobe St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing and fined $276.48.
* Richard Casey Collins, 2803 11th Ave., Vienna, pleaded guilty to fleeing, fined $176.48 and sentenced to nine days in jail which was ruled as time served. He had a charge of obstruction with threats of harm dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Michael D. Jozwick II, 1252 Gihon Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $201.48. He was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $50 to the Walmart store in Vienna.
* Randy D. Holstein Jr., 1028 Avery St. Apt. 1, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a red light violation and fined $186.48. He had a charge of driving on a suspended license for DUI dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Abby Lynn Craft, 2307 Liberty St., Apt. B, Parkersburg, had a charge of destruction of property dismissed without prejudice as the alleged victim does not wish to prosecute.
* Pamela L. Rhodes, 2993 Dutch Ridge Road, Apt 16, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on six months of unsupervised probation. She had charges of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription and having no insurance dismissed, per a plea agreement. She also pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48.
* Gerald Lewis Allen, 2484 Long Run Road, Cairo, pleaded guilty to speeding in a coast zone and fined $181.48
* Nosetalie Penina Cineas, 1542 NE Eighth St. Apt 108, Homestead, Fla., pleaded no contest to a traffic control signal violation and fined $181.48.
* Herbert Leon Mahar III, 1925 Princeton St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (meth), possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver (marijuana) and held on $100,000 surety bond.
* Earnest E. Barker, 2388 Blennerhassett Heights, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of battery and released on $1,500 surety bond.
* Michael John Casamassina, 917 17th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of obstruction and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.
* Stacey Lynn Bartlett, 45 Green Meadows Addition #25, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

* April Michelle Tripplett, 620 Lenore St, Parkersburg, had probable cause found on a charge of conspiracy to manufacture, deliver, possess with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.
* Christopher Keith Parker, 2006 Camden Ave., Apt. B, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no proof of insurance and fined $376.48.
* Jason James Littleton, 1606 Erie St., Parkersburg, had a charge of reckless driving and improper use of evidence of registration dismissed.
* Christi R. Dunham, 1804 St Marys Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48. Charges of having expired registration, having no insurance and operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Sarah Beth Wright, 623 ½ 33rd St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second offense shoplifting, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which were suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. She was ordered to pay a $589.52 civil penalty to Walmart.
* Marisa Sue Cochran, 113 Pickering St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of less than 15 grams of marijuana and fined $181.48.
* Ryan Michael Chaffin, 4812 Fourth Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. He had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice
* Veronica E Dickson, 16 Meadowcrest Lane, Little Hocking, pleaded guilty to selling or furnishing beer to someone under 21 and fined $201.48.
* Leeanna Allyson Fannie Higgins, 294 Madison Ave., Akron, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm and fined $276.48.
* Kenneth Brian Henry, 409 Sands St., Ravenswood, pleaded guilty to fraudulent schemes, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation. He was ordered to pay $651.77 restitution to the Walmart store in Parkersburg.
* Michael Russell Slater, 2107 Ninth Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm and battery on government representatives, health care providers, utility workers, law enforcement and EMS, fined $352.96 and sentenced to 120 days in jail which was ruled as time served. Charges of assault on government representatives, health care providers, law-enforcement and failure to process were dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Nora Renee Gordon, 831 Quincy St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 20 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on six months of unsupervised probation.
* Michael Kay Staats, 1912 Cameron Ave., Parkersburg, had a charge of violation of an emergency protective order dismissed with prejudice
* Tracy Jo McElfresh, 1 Government Square, Parkersburg, had a charge of trespassing in a placarded residence dismissed.
* Jaeden Kay Maines, 512 Maple St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to obstruction with threats of harm and fined $286.48. Maines had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed, per a plea agreement. Maines also pleaded guilty to fishing without a license, possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $382.96 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and Maines was placed on one year of unsupervised probation with a credit of four days for time served.
* Michael Madison Beasley Jr., 1015 18th St., Apt D1, Vienna, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Howard Madison Beasley Jr., 1015 18th St., Apt D1, Vienna, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* Christina Diana Johnson, 1015 Floyd Ave., Waldorf, Md., was arraigned on a charge of burglary and held on $20,000 surety bond.
* Kyle Ywain Life, 251 Belleville Drive, Belleville, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, having no proof of insurance and released on $500 personal recognizance bond.

* Misty Jo Felter, 200 Sandpiper Village, Apt F., St. Marys, pleaded no contest to speeding in a construction zone (61 mph in a 50 mph zone).
* Hitesh Bhanubhai Patel, 4819 E 7lst St., Cleveland, pleaded guilty to speeding (100 mph in a 70 mph zone) and fined $206.48.
* Jonah Ray Spears, 1905 Parkersburg Road, Spencer, pleaded guilty to speeding (90 mph in a 70 mph zone)
* John A. Crow, 203 Scenery Drive, Weirton, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed after proof was provided to the court.
* James Patrick Harris, 5021 Ann Lee Drive, Cross Lanes, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.
* John C Kuhn III, 1365 Twin Brothers Road, Little Hocking, pleaded no contest to having no seat belt and fined $25.

* Paul Wilson Cumberledge, 703 1/2 Putman St., Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice.
* Homer M. Fry, 208 Upper Fifteenmile Creek Road, Wingett Run, had charges of driving on a suspended license and expired registration dismissed after proof was presented to the court.
* Devin Michael Rossiter, 3515 Welch Road, Little Hocking, pleaded guilty to domestic battery, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.
* Ashton Aaron Hutson, 1420 Spring St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shooting or discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling, fined $276.48 and placed on 20 days of home confinement.
* Richard Gene Ballengee, 826 Dickel Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to destruction of property, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation
* Paul Wilson Cumberledge, 607 1/2 Putnam St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to violating a protective order, fined $436.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation. He had two counts of violating a protective order dismissed, per a plea agreement.
* John Alan Kelley, no address given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Washington County on charges of trafficking in drugs and possession of fentanyl. He was held without bond.
* Virginia Lorea Jenkins, no address given, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Meigs County on charges of possession and drug trafficking. She was held on no bond.
