PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Oct. 29:

* Dana Adam Pierson, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to trespassing and fined $196.48. He also pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (meth), fined $176.48 and sentenced to 120 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. A charge of possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl) was dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $186.48. He was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to the Sheetz store on Seventh Street in Parkersburg.

* William Donald Spellman, 4808 9th Ave., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on two counts of forging and uttering. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Jerrianne Krystal Myers, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed as the alleged victim does not wish to pursue charges.

* Staci Lynn Wilson, 4218 Lincoln St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $191.48.

* Brent Alan Petty, 20 Royal Gardens Ct 30, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to having expired registration and operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $362.96

* Haley Nicole Walton, 30 Neubauer Drive, New Martinsville, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $201.48

* Justin Wade Carmichael, 42 Forest Drive Apt. 108, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of violating a protective order and two counts of possession of a controlled substance and held on $3,000 bond.

* Colby Owen Brode, 1512 34th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violating a domestic violence protective order and released on $1,000 bond.

* Tyler Levi Mace, 1338 Spring St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of strangulation and released on $25,000 bond.

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Oct. 31:

* Tommy Wayne Fluharty, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to battery of a police officer and domestic battery, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail with 5 days credit for time served.

* Michael Dwaine Mosley Jr., 1226 Lynn St., Parkersburg, had a charge of burglary dismissed without prejudice after the officer did not appear in court.

* Kristian Gary Wineman, 1116 31st St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing waived on charges of grand larceny (two counts) and breaking and entering. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Kimberly Nicole Chapman, 5201 Starling Drive Apt. F, Charleston, had a charge of failure to yield to an emergency vehicle dismissed as part of a successful deferred sentence agreement.

* Nicole Marie Goldman, 813 Hugh St., Parkersburg, had a charge of petit larceny dismissed without prejudice as the case will undergo further investigation.

* Sheena Marie Kerns, 4I1 Elder St., Apt. 2, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $191.48. She was ordered to pay a $251.08 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Vienna. She pleaded guilty to another charge of shoplifting and fined $191.48. She was ordered to pay a $426 civil penalty to the Walmart store in Parkersburg.

* Joshua Shawn Williams, 2602 11th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license for DUI, fined $276.48 and sentenced to 30 days in jail. He had charges of improper registration and driving on a suspended license dismissed, per a plea agreement. He had a preliminary hearing on charges of attempt to commit an offense but failing to do so and fleeing from an officier in a vehicle with reckless indifference. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Destiny Dawn Vest, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice.

* Charles Dana Johnson, 191 Smith Hill, Cairo, had a charge of possession of a controlled substance dismissed without prejudice.

* Jonathon Dillon Cayton, 86 Oak St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to fraudulent schemes, fined $601.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on six months of unsupervised probation.

* Alexis Jean Allberry, 4363 Oak Grove Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.

* Andrea Rose Willis, 184 Electric Ave., Belleville, pleaded guilty to a charge of having defective equipment and fined $186.48. A charge of improper registration was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Audriouna Leigh Gaudio, 107 17th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $201.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.

* Deane Allen Beck Jr., 1008 301 St., Parkersburg, had a preliminary hearing on a charge of receiving/transferring a stolen vehicle. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Derek Dean Moore, Marietta, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and released on $3,000 bond.

* Dillian James Michael Swisher, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic assault and held on $500 bond.

* Dannie Charles Adkins, 96 Fenton Lane, Williamstown, was arraigned on charged of overtaking and passing a school bus, reckless driving and stopping and standing or parking in specific places and released on $1,500 bond.

* Claudia Ann Collins, 1108 1/2 16th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of making terrorist threats/acts and held on $25,000 bond.

* Toby Lee Blair, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of domestic assault, domestic battery, unlawful restraint, obstruction and disorderly conduct and held on $2,500 bond.

* Michael Craig Ritchie, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of burglary and auto larceny and held on $30,000 bond.

* Joshua Paul Pepper, 35 Farr St., Petroleum, was arraigned on a charge of receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle and released on $15,000 bond.

* Lloyd Michael Wamsley, 1705 Rayon Drive Apt. C, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of delivery of a controlled substance.

* David Michael Mullins, 133 Sams St., Washington, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended license and having no insurance and released on $1,000 bond.

* Billi Marie Tingler, 1006 14th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to a red light violation and fined $181.48.

* Kyle David Bryant, 1721 Staunton Turnpike, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to failure to maintain control and fined $181.48. A charge of having no registration was dismissed.

* Donald Mark Fetty, 1748 Ballard Run, Elizabeth, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed after proof was provided to the court.
