Wood Magistrate

PARKERSBURG — The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Oct. 23:

* Zachary Kevin Miller, 1408 20th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of petit larceny and released on $500 bond.

* Shawlonda Louise Sims, 1229 22nd St. 3C, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of driving on a suspended license and having no insurance and released on $500 bond.

* William Arthur Farmer, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of domestic battery and held on $3,000 bond.

* Jason Scott Bowers, 2424 Valley Road Unit 2, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to DUI with a BAC of .15 or more.

* Michael Allen Bailey, 418 4th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and maintaining a dwelling for the use of controlled substances, fined $362.96 and sentenced to six months in jail. A charge of obstruction with threats of harm was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Michael Lee Roupe, 001 East Maple St., Davisville, pleaded guilty to fishing without a license and fined $196.48. A charge of hunting, trapping or fishing on someone else’s property was dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and having expired registration and fined $457.96. A charge of having no insurance was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Paul Edward Bostic, 965 Atkinson Road, Walker, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license for DUI, fined $276.48 and placed on 30 days of home confinement. Charges of driving on a suspended license and having an expired registration were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Dylan Mitchell Sprague, 321 Sixth St., Marietta, pleaded guilty to having no operator’s license and fined $181.48. A charge of failure to stop for a stop sign has been dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.

* Eric Gene Salyers, 104 Mounds St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and having no proof of insurance and fined $652.96. He had charges of defective equipment, petit larceny and expired registration dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Brooklyn Shantel Groves, 7641 Pike St., Lot 208, Mineral Wells, had a preliminary hearing waived for a charge of manufacture or possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver a Schedule I or II narcotic or meth. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Faith Sherie Cannon, Waverly, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed.

* Timothy David Beheler Jr., P.O. Box 1807, Gilbert, W.Va.,pleaded guilty to second-offense driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48. He had a charge of operating a vehicle without evidence of registration dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Brandon Matthew Trembly, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed per the alleged victim’s wishes.

* Blake Anthony Myers, Marietta, pleaded guilty to domestic battery, fined $241.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation.

* Meghan Mari Gordon, 703 Gladstone St. Apt. B, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding in a construction zone (75 mph in a 55 mph zone) and having no insurance and fined $602.96.

* Daniel Shane Martin, 151 Green tun, Walker, pleaded guilty to third-offense having no operator’s license and fined $226.48.

* Justin Michael Johnson, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to unauthorized delivery of an item to an inmate, fined $176.48 and sentenced to one year in jail which was suspended and he was placed on two years of unsupervised probation. Charges of transporting alcohol, implement of escape, dangerous material, weapon, drugs to a corrections facility and public intoxication were dismissed, per a plea agreement. He also pleaded guilty to shoplifting and fined $186.48.

* Shykyl D. Willis, 2833 Dupont Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no operator’s license and fined $181.48.

* Brandon Todd Duncan, 348 Lincolnshire Drive, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to littering from a motor vehicle and fined $226.48.
