Parkersburg Woman’s Club hosting ‘Play Music on the Porch Day’

PARKERSBURG – The GFWC Parkersburg Woman’s Club is sponsoring “Play Music on the Porch Day,” a local component of an annual international event, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the group’s clubhouse at 323 Ninth St. The theme of the worldwide event is “Play for Peace.” Multiple groups are lined up to perform, including the DeBarr Stephens Trio and Laurel Creek Band, but people are invited to bring their chairs and instruments and join in the4 music as well.
