COVID vaccine boosters available at Clarksburg VA

CLARKSBURG — The Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg is offering COVID-19 booster vaccinations at the unscheduled walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinic 8-4 p.m. Monday to Friday to all enrolled veterans, caregivers and spouses. The vaccine clinic is on the first floor of the medical center in the multipurpose rooms. To receive the free COVID-19 vaccine, enrolled veterans are asked to present their VA card and are encouraged to wear a short-sleeved shirt. Marsh: COVID vaccine not dangerous to pregnancy

CHARLESTON — COVID vaccinations are not only safe for pregnant women, but also can assure both their own health and the well-being of their unborn child, according to West Virginia COVID Czar Dr. Clay Marsh. West Virginia reports 902 new active cases of COVID-19, 17 deaths

CHARLESTON — There were 17 COVID-19 deaths reported Friday in West Virginia, since the previous report on Thursday. The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reported the 17 deaths along with 902 new cases of the virus which were reported in the 24-hour period between Thursday and Friday mornings.
