O’Bleness Hospital to welcome Ohio National Guard

ATHENS — OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital Friday announced it will receive 10 members of the Ohio National Guard next week to assist with COVID-19 relief efforts. CHARLESTON — Six thousand fewer active virus cases were reported in West Virginia Thursday, a result of the change in guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the state Department of Health and Human Resources said. COVID surge prompts change to Camden Clark Medical Center visitation policy

PARKERSBURG — A temporary patient visitation policy will go into effect today at WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center. The hospital is changing its visitation to one visitor per patient, per day. Previously, two visitors were allowed, however, there’s been increased COVID activity. CHARLESTON — Active cases of COVID-19 continued to increase on Wednesday with 17,718 in West Virginia, more than 1,800 new cases since the Tuesday pandemic update by the state Department of Health and Human Resources.
