Give Local MOV to accept check donations, emphasizes online giving for May 5 campaign

PARKERSBURG - As Give Local MOV returns Tuesday, May 5, the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation is reminding donors that while the annual event is structured as a 24-hour online giving campaign, contributions by check will also be accepted. Donors who prefer to give by check may mail contributions to the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation, P.O. Box 1762, Parkersburg, WV 26102, or drop them off at the foundation’s office at 1620 Park Ave. Checks should be made payable to the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation and include “Give Local MOV – (agency name)” in the memo line ...

PARKERSBURG - As part of the 2026 Give Local Mid-Ohio Valley fundraising campaign, prizes will be awarded to organizations in the form of monetary donations to assist with their fundraisers, with each organization eligible to receive only one prize.
