Two-vehicle crash results in lane closure, power outage on Emerson Avenue

PARKERSBURG - A two-vehicle crash involving an Amazon delivery truck and a tow truck took place shortly before 11 a.m. Tuesday on Emerson Avenue north of Interstate 77 heading toward Waverly. At 10:55 a.m., the Wood County 911 Center received over 10 calls reporting power lines down, which was the result of a vehicle striking a utility pole.
