ELIZABETH — On Sunday, at approximately 2:50 p.m., Trooper T. C. Winters responded to a single vehicle crash, on Little Kanawha Parkway near Chestnut Run Road in Elizabeth.

Upon arrival, Winters learned that a vehicle driven by Steve Boggs, 59, of Grantsville, was traveling west on Little Kanawha Parkway (WV Route 5) when the vehicle went off the roadway, struck a pole, rolled over and came to rest upright. Boggs was extracted from the vehicle and was taken to Camden Clark Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.

Next of kin has been notified, and the investigation is ongoing, according to the report.
