MARIETTA — The winners of the annual Elks Hoop Shoot have been announced by Marietta Elks Lodge 477.

The competition was held Saturday at St. Mary Catholic School in Marietta where children in several age categories competed.

Winners were:

* 10-11, Girls Division: first place, Kyliegh Stevens (2 out of 25); second, Nora Bruni (0 out of 25).

* 12-13, Girls Division: first, Kendall Reed (17 out of 25); second, Kristin Lantz (16 out of 25); third, Jordyn Bruni (12 out of 25).

* 8-9, Boys Division: first, Benjamin Bucheit (18 out of 25); second, Bryson Bauer (7 out of 25, 3 out of 5 in shootout); third, Collin Shuler (7 out of 25, 1 out of 5 in shootout).

* 10-11, Boys Division: first, Leo Huffman (5 out of 25).

* 12-13, Boys Division: first, Will Lemasters (15 out of 25); second, Jayden Starlin (14 out of 25); third, Maddox Chidester (11 out of 25, 2 out of 5 in shootout).

Winners will advance to the Southeast District Hoop Shoot on Jan. 25 in Marietta.
