PARKERSBURG — The Parkersburg Area Community Foundation (PACF) has announced the creation of a new endowment fund to support Hearts and Hands 4 Paws, a local nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of animals in need in the Mid-Ohio Valley.
The Hearts and Hands 4 Paws Endowment Fund will serve as a permanent financial resource to support Hearts and Hands 4 Paws as it works to provide essential support and resources to local animals, shelters, and pet owners.
“We’re deeply committed to improving the lives of animals, and this new endowment fund is a critical step toward securing a sustainable future for our organization and the animals we serve,” said Kim McCoy, Hearts and Hands 4 Paws’ Board of Director President. “The PACF partnership and management of the fund ensures that our work will continue for many years to come.”
Created by a group of volunteers for Hearts and Hands 4 Paws, the new endowment fund is designed to grow over time, providing a consistent and reliable source of funding that can be used to support the organization’s ongoing work. Hearts and Hands 4 Paws is calling on local animal lovers to contribute to the fund and help it grow.
Community members wishing to contribute to the Hearts and Hands 4 Paws Endowment Fund may send donations by check (payable to PACF, with Hearts and Hands 4 Paws Endowment Fund on the memo line) to: PACF, P.O. Box 1762, Parkersburg, WV 26102. Donations may also be made online at www.pacfwv.com/give.
