47th Annual Turkey Trot Set for Nov. 27

The 47th annual Turkey Trot is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Nov. 27 at City Park.

Cost is $20 per person if payment is received by Nov. 20, and $25 thereafter. Entrants may run or walk the three-mile race. Prizes include a dressed turkey to the first male and female to cross the finish line as well as door prizes.

Mason Aces GCWV

Jerry Mason, of Williamstown, recorded the second hole-in-one of his career Tuesday at the Golf Club of West Virginia. Mason hit the shot on hole No. 18, a 115-yard par 3, using a pitching wedge.

The feat was witnessed by Dave Zoller and Ron Warfield.
