WILLIAMSTOWN — The West Virginia State Police, in partnership with the Commission on Drunk Driving Prevention, will conduct a sobriety checkpoint from 6 p.m. Friday to midnight Saturday on West Virginia 14 near Henrie Lane in the Williamstown area.
The checkpoint may be moved to West Virginia 47 near the State Police detachment if the W.Va. 14 location becomes unsafe due to traffic congestion or if other hazardous conditions arise.
Motorists who want to avoid the checkpoint can plan to take an alternate route.
