PARKERSBURG — The West Virginia Division of Highways on Tuesday announced two projects beginning today.

In Pleasants County, Route 1/9, Skyles Road, will be closed at milepost 0.02 between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. for a pipe replacement.

The road will be closed.

In Wood County, Route 16/5, Winding Heights Road (Gillespie Run Road) will be closed from the intersection of Wood County Route 16/4, Spider Ridge, to the intersection of Wood County Route 50/5, Winding Road, between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. until Monday for a paving project.

Flaggers will be present. The road will be closed to all traffic.

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances could change the schedules.
