Fairly ready: Washington County Fair starts today

The 2025 edition of the Washington County Fair has opened in Marietta for a four-day show ending on Tuesday.
Events include the today’s parade, food, entertainment, truck and tractor pulls, harness races, animal shows, home arts exhibits, a demolition derby and a motocross show.
Entertainment on the Midway includes carnival rides by EGO Amusements; the Magical Adventure Show, an award winning and family friendly show; the Cincinnati Circus, new this year; the Dog Sport Showcase; and the Columbus Zoo. Skate Night for $1 will be held every evening from 6-9 p.m.
Monday is Military Day featuring free admission for veterans and servicemen. The Livestock Sale will be held from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday
Daily admission is $12 and a season pass is $30. A membership pass is $35. Children 4 and under are admitted free. Parking is free.
