Dining with Diabetes classes set for fall

PARKERSBURG — The West Virginia Extension Service is hosting a Dining with Diabetes series this fall.

The event will help diabetics manage their condition through better eating.

The program is for people with diabetes, their family members and caregivers and will include educational discussions, cooking demonstrations, giving simple and healthy food ideas and more.

The program will be conducted by Mary Treadway, MSM, APRN, FNP-BC, CDCES.

The program is limited to 30 participants and people are advised to register early to secure a spot.

The classes will be held on Fridays Sept. 12, 19, 26 and Oct. 3 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Mineral Wells.
