PARKERSBURG — The Women, Infants and Children Nutrition Program is a supplemental food program for pregnant, post-partum or breastfeeding women, infants and children up to the age of 5.

WIC provides food, breastfeeding support and nutrition education to families in Wood County. People can contact the local office at 304-428-3688 to apply for the WIC Program or receive more information.

The Wood County WIC Clinic is open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays in August at 1824 Murdoch Ave. (St. Joseph Landing Suite F401) in Parkersburg. Hours are subject to change.
