The long gentle curves of Rayon Drive.

A curvy, but relatively flat stretch through some neighborhoods begins after mile marker seven, prior to having a slight uphill that levels off ahead of a busy intersection that will be controlled the day of the race. Just past that intersection, participants will have a short descent before making a left turn from Rayon Drive to Camden Avenue. These wide sweeping curves bring runners and walkers back toward downtown Parkersburg. The News and Sentinel Half Marathon and Two-Mile Race will be held Aug. 16.
