VIENNA — Grand Central Avenue between 46th and 28th streets in Vienna will be closed starting 6 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday while Hope Gas connects a pipeline system.

The city of Vienna does not anticipate any outage, however, there will be a flare system in use to burn the gas, resulting in a visible flame and, potentially, loud bangs. Traffic control will be in place at the location of the flare system in the 600 block of 39th Street starting at the intersection of Grand Central Avenue and extending onto Eighth Avenue.
