Royalty named at Williamstown High School

WILLIAMSTOWN –Williamstown High School will celebrate homecoming Oct. 5 and has announced its homecoming court.

The king and queen will be named during halftime of the game with the Tyler Consolidated Knights. The game will be preceded by the Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally at 1:45 p.m.

The Homecoming Court is:

* Faith Hoosier, daughter of Dennis and Sarah Hoosier. Her grandparents are Teresa Pettit and the late Larry Pettit, Jack “Tack” Nestor and Theresa Bogard. She is a representative for the senior class, a member of the National Honor Society and plays for the girls volleyball and softball teams.

She plans to attend West Liberty University in pre-law.

* Carter Haynes, son of Shawn Haynes and Melissa Frye. His grandparents are Mike and Sandy Haynes, the late Bernard Seevers and Judy and Charlie McLeish. He is a member of National Honor Society and the varsity football team. He plans to attend West Virginia University to study secondary education.

* Isabelle Erb, daughter of Eric and Lynn Erb. Her grandparents are George and Nancy Fenton, Frank and Sonia Fenton and Dorothy Erb and the late John Erb. She is the Student Body president, a member of National Honor Society and the WHS Orchestra, and plays for the girls soccer and basketball teams.

She plans to major in psychology and attend either Taylor or Wheaton universities.

* George Harris, son of George Harris IV and Paula Harris. His grandparents are Charlie and Pam Barrett and Barbara Harris. He is the vice president of the Senior Class, vice president of the Key Club and is a member of National Honor Society. He plans to study dental hygiene at West Liberty University.

* Renee Wigal, daughter of Brian and Tracy Wigal. Her grandparents are Paul and Myrna Wigal and David and Linda Wilcoxen. She is a member of National Honor Society and the WHS Choir and volunteers at Camden Clark Medical Center. She plans to attend WVU and pursue a career in medicine.

* Mason Bosgraf, son of Matt Bosgraf and Jennifer Varner. His grandparents are Ron and Faith Meredith and Ed Jones. He is a captain on the boys’ soccer team. He plans to attend WVU and pursue a career in business.

* Carsen Hesson, daughter of Brian and Michelle Hesson. Her grandparents are Denver and Doreen Hesson. She is the senior class secretary, secretary of the Key Club, a member of the National Honor Society and a member of the Varsity Girls Track Team.

She plans to attend WVU and major in exercise physiology.

* Kyle Kitchen is the son of Anthony and Connie Kitchen. His grandparents are Roger and Lola Kitchen, and William and Connie Bolanz. He is a representative for the senior class, a member of the National Honor Society and plays on the varsity football team.

He plans to attend WVU and pursue a career in medicine.

Crown bearers will be Drew Jones and Cooper White and the flower girls will be Piper King and Audrey Mundorff.
