PARKERSBURG — Once more, with feeling.

Nearly 1,900 nominations for the 2025 Parkersburg News and Sentinel Readers’ Choice in more than 200 sub-categories from auto body repair and paint to wax candle store have been pared down to five nominees.

Readers submitted the names of their favorite establishments and organizations in August, then narrowed the lists in October. Now they’ll vote one more time to determine a winner and two finalists in each group.

“Everybody who’s made it this far in the competition can be proud of the support and goodwill they have in the community,” News and Sentinel Advertising Director Lisa Northcraft said. “Now their customers will let us know who they think is the best of the best.”

Voting will last from Nov. 5-13. Readers can vote once per category per day at newsandsentinel.com/readerschoice.

All the nominees can be found in Wednesday’s edition of the newspaper.

Winners and finalists will be announced in print and online Dec. 10.

Starting at $2.99/week.
