PARKERSBURG — Eleven students have graduated in the new Certified Medical Assistant training program, an accelerated program through the Washington County Career Center, WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center and WorkForce WV.
The program offers career development for Camden Clark employees and is a 17-week program allowing employees to advance their careers in clinical procedures and pharmacology and to sit for the National CMA Certification. The students were funded by grants through WorkForce WV and Camden Clark Medical Center, allowing them to continue to work fulltime with tuition costs covered.
The graduates are Amanda Jackson, Shelby Heiss, Kayla Hoover, Maddy Bunner, Tristan Chancellor, Christina Duke, Roger Bradley, Marilyn Cook, Amber Longwell, Addie Adkins and Carla Salles.
