MARIETTA — Selby General Hospital has been named in the top 78 hospitals for patient experience in the Midwest by Becker’s Hospital Review.

The list is compiled using patient experience data, and each hospital is given a star rating. Selby General received five out of five stars and is the only hospital in the region to receive this recognition.

Becker’s Hospital Review is a publication company providing information for health care decision makers and one of the fastest growing media platforms in the industry. It has a broad scope of coverage including health care news and analysis, commentary and strategy from industry leaders, best practices, business guidance and support and lists noteworthy health care facilities and people.

Becker’s goal is to improve health care by giving decision-makers the information they need to make informed decisions.

Selby General Hospital made the Becker’s list based on HCAHP scores from CMS for the period of July 2020 to March 31, 2021.

The ranking was based on 3 quarters of data with a five-Star patient experience summary in 12 states that make up the Midwest.

Selby General Hospital also made the list for 2020.
