Helen Evans Rumburg, 100, (who, yes, liked to sign her first name with a lowercase h) passed away Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026, at Rockland Ridge in Belpre. She was born Dec. 27, 1925, in Jackson County, W.Va., to the late Dan and Carrie Evans. She married Ted Rumburg in 1949. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend with a wonderful, mischievous sense of humor. Her faith in Christ was an example to her family. It is with sadness and much love that we mourn the passing of Nina Jean Allman, of Mineral Wells, on September 4, 2026, at the age of 88. Following a year of battling illnesses. Born June 8, 1938, Nina grew up on a farm in Rockport. On May 19, 1956, at age 18, she married the love of her life, Norman Roosevelt Allman.
