New York Times bestselling author Wanda E. Brunstetter releases the final book in her Prayer Jars series, "The Healing Jar," as well as a new cookbook, "Amish Friends Gathering Cookbook."
In the final book, Lenore Lapp, an Amish schoolteacher, meets Jesse, a widower with a baby daughter. She falls for him quickly, but it seems like Jesse is only looking for a mother for his child, not a lasting love, and breaks off their engagement. Lenore feels this was her last chance at romance and settles into life as a singleton when she finds an old jar in her grandmother's garden, which has a link to some long gone family secrets. Meanwhile, the main characters of the first two books, Sara and Michelle, are settling into their new lives as spouses, one English and one Amish. How will the first year of marriage be for their relationships? And when death visits the town, everyone feels the pain and shock. Will everyone get their happily ever after?
This is a fitting end to the series that will leave readers satisified with where ther characters end up.
